Beginning her interior design career in her hometown of Quito, Ecuador, Gabriela’s design journey started in the luxury residential market and quickly came to include the commercial sector. Her hard work and perseverance paid off, earning a full tuition scholarship to pursue her MFA degree at The Savannah College of Art and Design. She graduated in 2018 with an academic achievement and student leadership award, and was recognized for her thesis in the 2018 IDEC Regional Conference.

While in school, she held an intensive internship with Design Poole Inc., followed by a three month collaboration with Delta Airlines, where she gained experience researching and developing creative concepts with an interdisciplinary team.

Gaby is a Senior Designer at V Starr, and her appreciation for design is evident throughout each phase of the design process. Her thoughtful and detail oriented approach is reflected in each of her projects. She has experience in all phases of the design process from concept to installation, and has worked on a large variety of projects all over the world. She is quick to pick up new skills and is eager to gain new perspectives and experiences that she can draw inspiration from and showcase in her designs.
