Taking leads from the completed interior architecture and collaborating with artists Stuart Hartley and Michael Sirvet to tie in two large-scale art installations that were custom-developed for the project, our team created a carefully curated FF&E package for the entry lobby, conference room, and outdoor terrace of 1550 Crystal.
Part of a large-scale redevelopment of the Central District, the spaces are accented with touches of teal and emerald in rich, plush materials that add warmth and luxe to a neutral, monochromatic backdrop.
A comfortable and well-designed space for the residents to enjoy and design for professionals to stop and rest while working on the go, modern clean lines were highlighted in the furniture selections to highlight the strong architectural elements and create bold statements.
Cubes, by Stuart Hartley, was a major point of collaboration: the team worked with the artist to pull precise Pantone colors from the space, resulting in a piece that is an important extension of palette and continuity. Michael Sirvet’s Interstellar, a shimmering silver triptych mounted on black leather panels, brings organic motion to an otherwise structured interior. The result is a sophisticated space that beautifully unifies a neutral palette, pops of colors, and elegant details.
