Rich in American history, the city of Fort Myers attracts people worldwide who are captivated by the revolutionaries, creators, and dreamers of both the past and the present. Paying homage to elements found in architecture classic to the island of Bermuda, Town Village Walk is a tropical paradise rich in textures, prints, and patterns that exudes resort-style living and a year-round staycation. The buildings are accented by pastel-toned highlights, reminiscent of the Bermuda cottages that inject playful pops of color across the hills and are often regarded as a hallmark of the island.
The property consists of the main clubhouse, split in two by a covered walkway, one side housing the leasing area with a custom wallcovering backdrop of overscale palm graphics, elegant club lounge and kitchen highlighted with breezy linen draperies and seagrass punctuated ceilings, and a movie theatre complete with custom-designed gold palm floor lamps. The other side houses the state-of-the-art fitness center complete with a full walk-in sauna and restrooms designed to extend the tropical laid-back vibe.
Beyond the clubhouse, you will find a relaxed outdoor terrace that leads to a grand resort-style pool with beach entries, grotto waterfalls, oversized hot tub, and regulation swim lanes. Surrounding the pool are hidden hammocks tucked into tree-lined pathways, volleyball, tennis, and pickleball courts, a large sunken fire pit, and an open-air pool pavilion complete with a pool table and tvs and various casual areas to lounge.
All of the light fixtures were custom made, including the oversized sea glass chandelier that is featured prominently in the clubhouse entryway. Even the restroom areas received special treatment. Each is unique and features tropical-inspired wallcoverings, including the stunning “La Palma” designed by Catherine Martin for Mokum.
